Karina Guevara is a Fresno State graduate and passionate radio personality at Q97.1 who uplifts her community through her voice while balancing a fulfilling career and motherhood.

Hello, I’m Karina Guevara and I’m from Hanford Ca, but living in Fresno now. I graduated from Fresno State in 2023 I got my BA in Broadcast in Journalism. My passion was always radio, I knew I wanted to get into the entertainment industry. I wanted to challenge myself by putting my personality out there. Also to get involved with my community I was very grateful I found my career job while I was still studying to get my degree.

I currently work at Q97.1 radio as the Morning Producer, On-air talent, and Traffic. I love what I do here in the Central Valley. Uplifting people in the morning and listening to their stories and interacting with them is the best feeling. My job doesn’t feel like a job, I come in knowing I’m going to have an amazing time. Working with the best talented people, who have become family. Also, just last year I became a mommy to a handsome baby boy. Everything I do is for my little family, they motivate me to never give up and to keep going after my goals.
